Sweetwater Valley
An evil is brewing amongst the equines of Sweetwater, but it is something that no one can see. Horses are dropping left and right, screams of pain and terror ring across the borders of alliances. Chaos is let loose and now, there is nothing to stop it. The four races are
left powerless as their followers die off slowly. No allies can be found for they are battling something unseen. Only when all walls of seperation are dropped, and the equines, creatures, and immortals join forces, can the valley stand a chance.

Weather
-Summer has blossomed over Sweetwater, the sickness has begun to disappear slowly, though the death is a constant reminder of its plague. But the inhabitants have only just seen what destruction is, and its not about to end. But for the moment, relief has come in the form of clean showers, constant sunshine, and blissful weather. Enjoy it while it lasts, for death keeps knocking, and it won't wait for long.
An end, or a new beginning? « Thread Started on Feb 1, 2006, 7:13pm »
What now?
Well, he's dead. It wasn't fun getting that way, but now that he is, it's actually not that bad. Hard to get used to, though, as Kaza'ore slipped and went through another tree. He grimaced, shivering. It was quite unsettling to go through other living things, really. He shook it off and continued on, in search of what he wasn't sure. He always had been one to wander aimlessly, just for the hell of it, and he wasn't going to let a little thing like death stop him.
Eventually, the forest ended, and he came out into a vast, barren expanse of ground stretching to the horizon. That horizon was broken, though, by a massive volcano. Eyebrows raised at the sight of the immense tower, and he decided right then to pay that place a visit. Who knows what was to be found there?
Nimbly he ran across the barren ground, stained pelt not flowing in the wind as it used to. It was eerie, being dead and all. You felt... nothing... As if you weren't really there. He had no shadow, and somehow knew that others couldn't see him at all.
Finally he reached the edge of the black tower, and with an excitement he hadn't felt since had been alive, he scaled it. With the help of his spirit abilities, he reched the top of the mountain in only an hour or so, and as he stood at the edge, the view took his breath away.
Not that he was still breathing. Regardless, it was stunning. The pit stretched, it seemed, to the depths of the earth, numerous caves and passages carved into the sides and winding down into the darkness. A faint glow lit the cavern with a dancing, shimmering red light that intrigued the deceased Canine. He paced around the edge for a couple moments, then was decided.
I don't suppose anyone else lives here... he began to himself, as all life was gone from this place. With only the slightest hesitation, he now made himself visible to all, raising his hollow voice clearly. Then I, Kaza'Ore, Claim these lands as my own!
His voice echoed into the silence.
((I understand that we are allowed up to tree special charries, right? Therefore... *pounces* Yay Ore! Anyone who wants to challenge him for possesion of the volcano is welcome to do so >3.))

Aglaia
Should anyone be following, they wouldn't notice...
Love had boundaries, but they did not stop at death. Love could go beyond those borders, as well as spirits. Yet a spirit could go beyond the boundaries of love, and fall into endless time and space, letting that spirit never feel anything ever again, just as death did to it a long time ago. Or it could've been a short time ago, and while that spirit fell, it died once more, and the meloncholy swallowed it whole, and left nothing, not even an ecto plasm. It seemed that that meloncholy was about to swallow a young fae, transparent as she ran, ran away from the brutal home that she had had. But now she had nothing to run away from, as she could not feel, as she could not breathe. The ato slipped by her fragile frame, rolling and unmoving. All around her were trees, foliage towering, avoiding them, she wondered if anything be following her. Dial turned slightly, mistaken amber orbs penetrated darkness of shadows, leaving a trail of nothing. Everything slipped passed her, but nothing was chasing. Relieved, she turned again, and a Giant, darl, loominess oak smashed into her, or it seemed so. She closed Ovuls tightly, waiting for the pain, but hwne it did not come , she opened her slender zeniths again, and found she had not hit anything, and that she was still moving.
Twilight sky loomed over her tiara, as she exited the forest, still dazzled by what had happened, but she was just figuring out what had happened to her.She was dead, and she better get used to it. She never wanted to see another living soal again, and yet she passed through foliage over and over again, just to feel the sensating tingle passing through her. Barrel did not heave, yet she still breathed, Paperthin, porcelain nazals flared, yet nothing resisted against it. Wind passed her, yet tassels did not flap, she was dead, and getting used to it.
Horizon was filled with new and exotic thing,s plateus, rivers, but one other thing, majestic and beautiful rised up against all. An unearthy glow coming from the top, radiating something very strange, very strange indeed. Yet there was something else, a sound, it came, it sounded like the howling of a canine. Racing farther, she etched closer and closer, dawn nearing, letting rays spill radiant colors down on her peltage of sleek, rolling silver.
Rocks slipped from under her blades once again, she trembled as she fell once more to the slanted glebe. The climb so far had been horrible, but she did not know she could pretty much fly. But she kept going, determined to find what was so majestic about this place. Finally the landscape leveled out, and a strange figure stood atop, what seemed to be his, and she watched for a second, before realizing what a wonderful wolf he was. He looked transparent to, with a bit of mist swirling around his claws, he was dead also.
Lyrics were spoken, mystical and gentle. The inquiring tones drifted lazily towards the muscled brute. Chanting words of mercy and wonder.
'Tis a wonderful place, is it not? Oh, my apologies, sir, I be Aglaia, and it seems I have intruded on your lands.

((Beware following short and musless post from yours truly.))
Ears flicked back, then pinned against his skull in the same swift movement. Pupils refocused, teeth clenched and bared, and he turned warily to see an equine fae standing beside him. His mind screamed at him to do something, say something, but he stood still for the longest moment he had ever experienced. At long last he relaxed, though he was still wary, as every moment in this world brought back memories. Pain, suffering, and the fear of equine creatures... he shook it off, realizing that she spoke. He listened cautiously, realizing the full meaning of his claim. He was... the lord of this place. This volcano. And... Yes. It is... wonderful. The word tasted so strange on his tongue. The words, all of them, tasted so strange now that no breath came with them. Now that they held no life to give them strength, nor true substance. It made him think... maybe this was all just a dream. Just... a nightmare...
Aye, this is my land. No apologies needed, equine -- I bear no grudge against those who wander.
