Like a puff of smoke drifting through the skies, the Goddess soared valiantly over her new land. With a slight shift of her wings, she headed toward the earth, swooping through each tree until her scythes brisked the grass.
She halted, twirling in the spot and creating a heart shaped fire ring around her. Berceuse Foncée leapt from the spot, admiring the tiny piece of work. Though she could do much more.
For the time being, she raised her dial, surveying the land. There was an odd scent to it, a scent of death..sickness..fire. She wondered where the grand God of fire stood at the moment...

Ebony chassy moved quickly through the ever burning forests, past charred bits of trees, and rocks that towered and wavered shadows on the ground. He had caught the scent of another, his newest addition. The Goddess stood waiting for him as his feathered feet came to a brutal stop and kicked ash into the air.
"Making yourself at home?"
(Still no muse.)

Dark pelt shimmered as the unipeg turned to face him, giving him a hardly noticable nod of her horn. "Yes..home." She whispered, sighing.
It had been a long time since Berceuse had called a place home, and oh how it felt strange..unsettling. She turned her dial toward him, tassels brushing the ends of her knees.
"Well, Comanche, you have quite a nice land.."
[that was very...bad..no muse..lol]

His own optics followed hers as she glanced around, then rested back on her as she spoke. Auds only gave the slightest movement to listen, letting the sound of her voice vibrate through ebony wisks. Then as she quieted the droning crackling resumed, and his maw slowly opened and answered.
"Never gets too quiet, so it's easy to sneak around. Good defense because no one else wants to come here. It is nice, indeed."
The mare had stolen his heart from the minute she showed up. By now the God knew that his old Lady wasn't coming back, but now he had company to count on. Of course, he need not worry about her deadly song. He was so deadly himself that he payed almost no attention to it. It was, though, disconcerning to hear such a tune as he entered the lands. But by now he was getting used to it, and even enjoyed it slightly. The ash under his feet crackled a bit, and he looked past the mare for a moment as a branch crashed to the ground, burned off the dead trees. The trees themselves seemed to move in a sad dance as the fire flickered around them, their shadows stretching and wavering just like those of the rocks.

[no muse]
She listened intently, taking in all that he said. At the moment, it was quite silent. Silence was a strange thing...it could be for peace and serenity..or the aftermath of war.
She stretched her grand ebony wings, shaking a bit of ash from the feathers before setlling them back 'pon her back. She began to hum the lullaby softly, knowing that it wouldn't harm a creature as powerful as the God if Fire.
"Shall we take a walk?" Berceuse turned her crown, azure optics on him. She was a bit eager to examine the land.

"For sure."
He gestured for her to walk first, since every god had to be a gentleman. It had something to do with role models, but he didn't give a whiff of it, simply did things his own way. He began to walk, slowly.
(No muse.)

[I'm SO sorry for being gone so long!!!!!!!!!]
Berceuse stepped lightly forward, optics focused ahead of her.She walked proudly, which somehow bothered others. The ghostlike movement, the seemingly effortless evil that steamed from her ebony canvas, the chilling sparkle in her azure orbs..though all of it is what made her who she is..and for that she is not ashamed. For she knows how truly uncommon and beautiful she is.
"Perhaps, Comanche, you could interest me with the updates of Sweetwater," The mare said, orbs falling onto him. She has to admit she did not know the latest events of Sweetwater, though she knew that something very bad was happening...she could sense the unsettling haze in the smokey air, that seemed to absorb it all like a sponge.
