What now?
Well, he's dead. It wasn't fun getting that way, but now that he is, it's actually not that bad. Hard to get used to, though, as Kaza'ore slipped and went through another tree. He grimaced, shivering. It was quite unsettling to go through other living things, really. He shook it off and continued on, in search of what he wasn't sure. He always had been one to wander aimlessly, just for the hell of it, and he wasn't going to let a little thing like death stop him.
Eventually, the forest ended, and he came out into a vast, barren expanse of ground stretching to the horizon. That horizon was broken, though, by a massive volcano. Eyebrows raised at the sight of the immense tower, and he decided right then to pay that place a visit. Who knows what was to be found there?
Nimbly he ran across the barren ground, stained pelt not flowing in the wind as it used to. It was eerie, being dead and all. You felt... nothing... As if you weren't really there. He had no shadow, and somehow knew that others couldn't see him at all.
Finally he reached the edge of the black tower, and with an excitement he hadn't felt since had been alive, he scaled it. With the help of his spirit abilities, he reched the top of the mountain in only an hour or so, and as he stood at the edge, the view took his breath away.
Not that he was still breathing. Regardless, it was stunning. The pit stretched, it seemed, to the depths of the earth, numerous caves and passages carved into the sides and winding down into the darkness. A faint glow lit the cavern with a dancing, shimmering red light that intrigued the deceased Canine. He paced around the edge for a couple moments, then was decided.
I don't suppose anyone else lives here... he began to himself, as all life was gone from this place. With only the slightest hesitation, he now made himself visible to all, raising his hollow voice clearly. Then I, Kaza'Ore, Claim these lands as my own!
His voice echoed into the silence.
((I understand that we are allowed up to tree special charries, right? Therefore... *pounces* Yay Ore! Anyone who wants to challenge him for possesion of the volcano is welcome to do so >3.))
