Lady of ivory padded gracefully to the border of Nizam Plateu. The wolf turned her head, looking from one side to the other. Pools fell upon nothing but landscape, but she knew that an equine or wolf lived in these wonderful lands of the sky. She opened her maw and howled a silvery note of loneliness, calling the lead to her. She wondered what would happen in Sweetwater. How would others greet her. Would they be calm and kind? Or would they chase her away and not welcome her? The femm wanted to be accepted into a family she could call home, or her clan. Her pelt shone brightly and rather proudly. Pools of sapphire were gleaming and she hoped for once she'd be accepted. The wolf was a loyal one, who knew all about Sweetwater. Her mother once told her about such a place. She sat down, waiting patiently for a lead that never would seem to come.

Through the forest that so densly ringed the plateau and into the skies above it, the canine's cry did not echo unheard. The lady of the sky was in, at the moment, and the silvery echo did not fail to reach her ears. Those ears perked with intrest, and eyes like tarnished emeralds turned to the horizon. With a brisk trot she made her way to the edge of the plateau, and once there, decided to use her wings rather than levitate. Great wings lifted, feathers poised to tame the wind, and she leapt from the edge. Gliding down to the forest where she had heard the femme's note of calling, gaze flickered to the borders of her land and spotted the canine waiting. Deftly she landed, pulling her wings to her back and trotting swiftly as she touched ground. Jog soon became walk, until she was casually approaching the one who wished to become of the sky. Last time she had been asked for such a thing, she remembered, it had been by a canine not unlike this one. A riddle she had posed, and a riddle she would speak again, for she wished to test those who came seeking acceptance, rather than open the gates to all. Strength was useful, but wit was certainly more so in times like these, and so she though of such a riddle as she halted afore the canine.
A greeting, my friend, and welcome to the land of the Skies. If ye wish to follow such a life, listen hither; What can be created but never captured, tamed but never owned, only borrowed... Tangible matter it hath not, yet it can destroy much in little time. Speed is it's greatest weapon, and only a select few can control it. It is around us as we speak, in currents and wispy eddies, yet see it we cannot and control it we can only try. What is this entity that I speak of? Answer true and thy path will be clear. She finished, gaze lingering almost bemusedly on the one before her.
