Darkness bathed th' shoreline. Deep aqua waves lapped silently at th' shores. No sounds were t' be heard. No moon shone light ont' th' beach. Silent, ashen fog was moving in. Pale moonlight reached through the pearly mists. Through th' silence, there was a noise... finally, a noise... A sound that broke th' silent spell of midnight. Rythmic beats, never faltering, came closer and closer. The beats grew steadily louder until they were as clear as a sun-kissed morn'. Hoofbeats.
Crimson stained fae made 'er way hastily, noiselessly through th' darkness. Long pillars churned up th' earth beneath 'er, blurring into a mass of crimson and obsidian. Black-tipped auds were invisible through th' night, pricking and flattening against 'er head again, listening. Always listening. Ebony optics shunned th' sights 'round 'er, things barely visible through th' mist engulfing 'er. Finally, painfully slow, muscular pillars quit their blurred movement. Auds pricked fowards, optics glinted, watching and hearing th' scene before 'er.
Bright, pearly rays of moonlight engulfed th' beach. Stars were seen through th' disappearing mists above and around th' fae. Th' fog was clearing. Charred daggers left th' earth momentarily as sh' made a leap of faith into th' sea. They struck th' water, disappearing underneath. Auburn bod' followed, and th' classy Arabic dial went under. Delicate-looking pillars, moving effortlessly, propelling her through. At last, sh' broke surface and saw th' shore that she'd been looking for. Sh' pulled 'er exhausted bod' out of th' water and collapsed on th' sand. There sh' slept, a deep, long unmoving sleep in which th' fae almost seemed to leave th' realm of Earth entirely...
Sh' awoke in an entirely different area of th' island. Looking around, sh' stood, feeling refreshed. Watching 'er surrounding now instead of ignoring them, sh' allowed 'er daggers t' make their own path as her optics scanned th' lands. All was quiet, but in a peaceful way. None moved but 'er. Finally, topping th' crest of a hill, sh' stopped. Winds played with 'er ebonite banner and whipcord, first having them flow behind her, then blow th' direction sh' was facing, cascading o'er 'er boa and hocks. Sh' appreciated th' beauty of th' scene, then started down th' hill.
